Four Signature Mela games are to be organized: Dart Game, Ring Toss and Knock the Cup.
A 10-day campaign in association with an acknowledged NGO, ‘Railway Children India', is a CSR initiative to give back to society in these troubled times. Tricity will come together to share and experience the joy of giving with Shop & Donate. We will raise the funds to support a city-based child welfare NGO to bring smiles to these kids by distributing gift hampers.
Mountain Dew's Singing Talent Hunt Campaign at VR Punjab Mall created waves as aspiring singers competed for a chance to collaborate with Punjabi sensation Guru Randhawa on his upcoming album. The event showcased remarkable talent and inspired others to pursue their musical dreams. Participants gave their all, making the selection process tough for the judges. The campaign's success highlighted the power of dedication and showcased the brand's commitment to supporting emerging artists. No one dances like a Punjabi, whatever the dance form and our patrons had the chance to prove the same at the 'Mirchi Rock 'n' Dhol Night". Organised by Radio Mirchi, the Bollywood inspired Dandiya night attracted dance enthusiasts from all over the Tricity.

The end of Dussehra Dhoom was marked by a new style of telling the story of Ramayana. The Centre showcased the epic legend through a Nukkad Natak that had viewers fully regaled and engaged. The modern depiction also made it more relatable for youngsters.
It was a big occasion for us as VR Punjab turned One. VROne, the first anniversary celebrations were a truly festive affair that featured a diverse bouquet of events that appealed to a wide variety of consumers.
To ensure that our patrons are prepared for the upcoming wedding season, VR Punjab hosted Wedding Box Season 2, on popular demand. The three-day event extravaganza showcased everything one needs to plan the perfect wedding. The exhibition featured designers, wedding planners, jewellers, photographers, caterers and even astrologers, among others.
Money does grow on trees and this was proven at VR Punjab by india's biggest radio reality show, MY FM 'Paison ka Ped'. As popular RJs from MY FM added to the fun and excitement, the activity was as much fun for the spectators as the participants.
The Thalassemia blood donation camp held at VR Punjab aimed to support patients affected by Thalassemia, an inherited blood disorder. This camp focused on improving the well-being of these patients who have lived with the condition since birth. The event offered free medical check-ups, including blood pressure and random blood sugar tests, and consultations with doctors, skin care specialists, and dieticians. Additionally, 100+ attendees had the opportunity to undergo free and discounted cholesterol, creatinine, and thyroid tests at a nominal cost. The camp was organized with Mr. Nitin's consent and approval, ensuring attendees a valuable and comprehensive healthcare experience.
The star cast of Godday Godday Chaa turned up the FUN at VR Punjab during Mega Musical Fest on 21 May 2023. The evening had everything from exciting fan interactions to autograph sessions with the amazing Sonam Bajwa, cute Tania, and our dashing GABRUS Gitaz and Gurjazz. This had fans jumping for joy. It was an evening packed with laughter and unforgettable moments.

We curated a women’s week celebration with shopping offers and some fun activities as a tribute to women alongside live band performance and RJ interactions. The campaign was received well by all our patrons from across the tri-city.
We had dynamic live performances by Rhythm boys & Daria Band and a range of exciting offers across our F&B outlets. The live sessions got a tremendous response from our patrons and we were able to increase the average dwell time of the customers at the centre.
Our patrons celebrated the bond of love, friendship and admiration with an exceptional band performance by ‘Soch’ along with offers across brands and F&B outlets.

On India’s 71st Republic Day Republic Day, we had the honour of the flag hoisting ceremony followed by a performance by the Bagpiper Band. To pay homage to our nation and spread the message of “unity in diversity”, United India Dance Performance showcased the dance forms of 10 Indian states.
The harvest festival Lohri is an occasion for every Punjabi to rejoice and celebrate their annual crop. To mark this wonderful occasion, VR Punjab celebrated the special occasion with Lohri photo op & Bhangra and Giddha performances and the traditional bonfire
The beginning of the new year was melodious at VR Punjab with Live band performances and specials offers on the F&B menu. The weekend was full of fun, laughter and entertainment.

To complete the holiday season experience and ramp up the excitement for kids and families alike, we hosted carol singing, and a meet & greet session with Santa, which made the celebrations more special.

Two week-long celebration had special performances by local schools to tribute army, Hasda Punjab pipe band and flag hosting ceremony.
The release of most awaited upcoming Punjabi flick Sikander 2, brought the famous Kartar Cheema, Guru, Sawan Rupowali to the lifestyle destination. Not only they performed live for the audiences, the film star cast thoroughly entertained patrons of VR Punjab.
VR Punjab has organized an exciting fun activity - ‘Me Time with Doraemon’ for kids,the unique campaign received an overwhelming response, where in a large number of kids thronged to meet their favorite cartoon characters from the iconic cartoon series Doraemon, live. Apart from the ‘Meet and Greet’ with their favorite cartoon character Doraemon other characters from the series like Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo & Gian were also in attendance interacting with children. The activity offered something for everything. Other myriad fun activities were 'Aao karen Doraemon ki khoj', a special fun zone area amongst others.

Punjab’s biggest art fest, Punjab Art Initiative (PAI) saw art installations by renowned artists from across India highlighting the flavors of Punjab.
Children’s Art Competition Baisakhi and PAI 2019 came together in the form of Children’s Art Competition where 800+ kids showcased their interpretation of the harvest festival through unique drawings and paintings.
Baisakhi celebrations took shape in the form of delicious food, great music and dance. The festival of harvest also saw the traditional bhangra & giddah performances, without which Baisakhi is incomplete. A special Baisakhi installation at the lifestyle destination made many pose in front of it and take home memories.
VR Punjab saw over 100 patrons come together to watch the Bollywood golden-classic, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” underneath the stars at the Centre on 14th April. This was an exclusive experience created for the first-time in association with our event partner, Steppin’ Out.
Punjab Art Initiative 2nd Edition saw the many manifestations of art with the Art Bazaar, which provided a platform to Punjabi craftswomen that encouraged them to display local handicrafts and preserve the heritage of the state.
PAI 2019 concluded the month-long art celebrations by turning the basement of the center into a canvas for breathtaking graffiti. As artists from Punjab painted the walls of VR Punjab in colors of their creativity, we saw strong social messages come to life.
VR Punjab celebrated the special bond of motherhood with special activities like 'Make your Own Mother’s Day Greetings' and 'Mother’s Day Message Wall’, kids showcased the special place mums have in all of our hearts. We also conducted an exclusive fashion show called VR Mom & Kids with over sixty mom and kid duos walked the ramp in style.

Fitness enthusiasts came in great numbers to meet celebrity fitness trainer, Sapna Vyas. The Instagram sensation who is an ACE Certified trainer, inspired the audience with her personal weight-loss journey, citing how she lost 33 kgs in one year. This energetic event ended with a question and answer session, where Sapna answered queries and interacted with participants.

Santa paid a surprise visit to 10 lucky people who had expressed their wishes on the 'All I want for Christmas' wall at the Centre. The visits brought much joy to the patrons as Santa fulfilled their wishes including a meeting with renowned Punjabi singer, Jasmine Sandles. Visitors to the Centre were also in for a delight as they got the opportunity to meet the jolly old man at the Santa Parade.

December started with a tribute ti the ever-fashionable Denim. Brands showcased classic and new interpretations of this fabric for all seasons. The finale, held in association with our radio partner MY FM, was particularly exciting. Eight shortlisted candidates raced against each other in a treasure hunt and the winner was rewarded with the grand prize of a Bajaj Pulsar.

VR Punjab ushered in the holiday season with traditional Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. Attended by children from an NGO along with RJ Gagan of MY FM fame, the event truly encapsulated the Christmas spirit of spreading the joy. Awestruck audiences marvelled at the 40-foot tree and indulged in delicious cakes and cookies.
VR Punjab in association with NGO Prasanchetas and National Buzz gave 5 to 12 an opportunity to express what "Love" meant to them, through a picture, a scene or poster.

Little ones got a chance to play Arctic Explorers as LEGO invited them to let their imagination run free. Using LEGO bricks, children were asked to create their vision of the Arctic World. The result was a spectacular showcase of creativity, which left both participants and onlookers enthralled. The young participants were awarded vouchers from Hamleys and Fun City.
To make Diwali shopping even more exciting, VR Punjab hosted a grand shopping festival - Shoputsav, where prizes ranged from vouchers to TVS Jupiter scooters and Hyundai Santro, along with refrigerators, watched, furniture, mobiles, electronics and more. Usha Sharma, the lucky winner of the Hyundai Santro, was handed over the key amidst much cheering at the spectacular grand finale.
Mela Mitran Da - TriCity's Traditional Diwali Mela; recreated the magic of Diwali celebrations at VR Punjab. From handcrafted toys, ethnic wear to things to dress up the house with; there was shopping galore. The Mela had a line-up of cultural performances that everyone compelled to be a part of. There was also a range of lip-smacking 'mela specials' such as chaats, sweets and more.

At the center of celebrations was VR Punjab's shopping festival - Shoputsav, where shoppers took home shopping vouchers, mobile phones, refrigerators, watches, electronics, TVS Jupiters, and a Hyundai Santro.
Time flies by when you are having fun, VR Punjab organized a fun-filled time for our women patrons this Karwa Chauth, to help them tide over the day and bond with each other. The Centre organised makeovers, Nail art, stalls selling karwa staples and a communal pooja. All the women looked gorgeous in their traditional outfits and professional makeovers by EOSS Salon.

The amphitheatre at VR Punjab was filled choc-c-block as fans of comedians Kapil Sharma and Gurpreet Ghuggi travelled from far and wide to meet them. Them along with Navjot Singh Siddhu, Minister of Local Government, Tourism, Cultural Affairs and Museums, Government of Punjab and other members of the cast of the upcoming movie, "Son of Manjeet Singh".
